Tests Offered at NIAH

  

We are a national testing facility for numerous entrance exam tests.  You do not have to be a student of our school to take the tests listed below.

Estimated test times are listed below.

For non-students of NIAH who are taking the TEAS, HOBET or MAT exams, please check with the school you are enrolling to find out the following:

  • What version of the test do they accept?
  • How many retakes do they allow?
  • What is the minimum score they will accept?
  • What is their deadline for the test scores to be received?

TEAS 5.0 ADN (Associate Degree) - 2.5 to 3.0 hours

TEAS 5.0 BSN (Bachelor's Degree) - 2.5 to 3.0 hours

MAT (1 hour)

HOBET version 5.0  (2.5 hours)

PCT Combo Exam (Patient Care Technician/EKG/Phlebotomy) 4-5 hours

Brigham Young University Online Courses (time varies depending on the course)

 

TEAS TEST

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you check with the Admissions department of the school you are enrolling to find out what version of the test you should take.  For example, TEAS 5 - ADN or BSN.

Our test days are Monday thru Friday at 11:00 am or 1:00 pm.

We do offer testing on Saturdays, with an additional $40 proctor fee.  The total would be $100 proctor fee, $35 ATI test fee and $25 for your test score to be sent to the school of your choice.  Please note, the $25 fee is for ONE SCHOOL only.

Please note that once you arrive at our test site, you will not be allowed to have access to a calculator or your cell phone. 
 
 
 
Preparing for TEAS
ATI has their own study guide which you can purchase from their website for around $35.  Or, you can go by one of the national bookstores and purchase a TEAS study guide.

If you are not a new student enrolling at NIAH, our proctor fees are: $60 cash for TEAS 5, upon arrival to use our facility, $35 for the test, that you pay online by debit or credit.  If you want the test scores sent to the institution you will be attending, there is an additional $25 per school.
 
If you are enrolling as a new NIAH student, our facility fees are: $25 cash upon arrival, $35 for the test, that you pay online by debit or credit. 
 

MAT Test

 
Offered Monday thru Friday.  You can select the following times:
1 p.m.
4 p.m.   
 
The cost for the test is $125, cash upon arrival.

You can search on the internet, go to your local bookstore or check with your local library about the Miller's Analogies Test preparation.
 
 

HOBET 5.0 Test

 

Offered Monday thru Friday.  You can select the following times:

Not a current NIAH student: $60 cash facility fee upon arrival to use our facility, $35 for the test that you pay online by debit or credit.

 
Current NIAH student: $25 cash facility fee upon arrival, $35 for the test that you pay online by debit or credit. 
 
 
PCT Combo Exam
 
The cost for the PCT Combo Exam (PCT/EKG and Phlebotomy) is $200 (discounted price) if you are taking the test for the first time.  However, if you do not pass the one of the combo exams, you will have to pay the full price of the individual exam you do not pass.  You will make your payments to NIAH.
 
When you are ready to schedule your exam, you will have to select a date that is 3 weeks from today's date.  Once you schedule your exam, we will be notified about your reservation date.  We will receive a confirmation from NHA that you have scheduled the exam.  If you have not paid for your exam, we will cancel your reservation. 
 
 

The charge to take a Brigham Young final is $60, which is our proctor fee.  You will schedule your exam on Brigham's website.
