What you need to know about taking the TEAS test at NIAH
 
 
  1. We charge a $60 cash proctor fee. ATI will charge you on your credit/debit card $35 to take the test. ATI will charge $25 for each school you want to receive your score.  If you choose to take the TEAS test on the weekends, the proctor fee is $100.
 
  1. The test is proctored at 10:30 am and 1:00 pm, Monday thru Friday unless otherwise noted.
 
  1. If you have the opportunity, please take the TEAS practice exam online at www.atitesting.com. This will clearly show you your areas of improvement and it won’t count against you. Please note that ATI will charge a fee for this.
 
  1. Find out from the nursing school you are applying to what is the minimum score they will accept for the TEAS test.
 
  1. Find out how many times they will allow you to retake the test. For example, 30 days, 6 months, a year, or no limit.
 
  1. Find out if you should take the Associate Degree (ADN) or Bachelor Degree (BSN) test.
 
  1. Find out when is the deadline to submit the score.
 
  1. Find out if the school you are applying to, proctors the TEAS test. If so, this will expedite them receiving your score. If they don’t, it will take 5-7 business days for them to receive the score through the U.S. mail.
 
  1. Bring snacks and drinks. We want you to be comfortable taking the test. The test can take as long as 2.5 to 4.0 hours, depending on the individual and breaks.
 
 
How to Electronically Send Your TEAS Score to Your School of Choice
1.                 Once you have completed the test and you are satisfied with your score, log back into ATI’s website.
 
2.                 Once you are logged in, look at the top right corner of the screen, select “Online Store.”
 
    3.                 Look for the illustration below of the TEAS transcript. Select “add to cart.”
 
    4.                 Select checkout. 
 
5.                 Check the screen to ensure your personal information is correct.
 
6.                 Select continue checking out.
 
7.                 The next screen will show the list of schools to select from. Highlight the name of the school(s) you want to receive your score. 
 
8.                 If you have taken the test more than once, the next screen is very IMPORTANT. It will show you each test you have taken along with the score. Make sure you select “the score” you want the school to receive.  Otherwise, skip to the next step.
 
9.                 On the next screen, you will enter your credit/debit card information and submit.
 
10.            They will send a copy of the transaction to your email address. Make sure you log out of ATI before you leave the computer.
